Still the Same God

I love this song. It has been my theme this last month
and I wanted to share it with all of you.
It's truth, God is the only one who can provide.

1 Corinthians 10:13
"No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.
God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability,
but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape,
that you may be able to endure it."

Psalm 68:9-10
"Rain in abundance, O God, you shed abroad;
you restored your inheritance as it languished;
your flock found a dwelling in it;
in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy."

Malachi 3:3
"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify
the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver,
and they will bring offerings in righteousness to the LORD."

2 Corinthians 9:10
"He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply
and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the
harvest of your righteousness."

"When your own emptiness is painfully
forced upon your consciousness,
chide yourself that you ever dreamed
of being full except in the Lord."
-Charles Spurgeon

This is my prayer in the desert
And all that's within me feels dry
This is my prayer in the hunger in me
My God is a God who provides

And this is my prayer in the fire
In weakness or trial or pain
There is a faith proved
Of more worth than gold
So refine me Lord through the flames

And I will bring praise
I will bring praise
No weapon forged against me shall remain

I will rejoice
I will declare
God is my victory and He is here

And this is my prayer in the battle
And triumph is still on it's way
I am a conqueror and co-heir with Christ
So firm on His promise I'll stand

All of my life
In every season
You are still God
I have a reason to sing
I have a reason to worship

This is my prayer in the harvest
When favor and providence flow
I know I'm filled to be emptied again
The seed I've received I will sow
